01The agreement
Solify ("the Service") is a business management workspace for freelancers and independent professionals — client tracking, invoicing, tasks, notes, and AI-powered business insights, available at app.trysolify.com. It's operated by an individual founder; "we" and "Solify" in these terms refer to that operator. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. We may add, change, or remove features over time as Solify improves.
02Your account
Provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it current. Accounts are for one person — don't share credentials or let others operate as you. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account; tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
03Subscription, trial, and billing
- — Price. Solify is $12/month, billed as a subscription through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
- — Free trial. New customers get a 14-day free trial — one trial per customer. When it ends, continued access requires a paid subscription.
- — Cancellation. Cancel anytime from Settings — via the Stripe customer portal, or the cancel-trial control during your trial. Your access continues through the end of the period you've already paid for.
- — Refunds. We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods.
- — Price changes. Prices may change with advance notice. Early subscribers may have locked pricing that a general price change doesn't affect.
04The AI assistant — read this one
AI-generated insights are informational only. They may be inaccurate or incomplete, and they are not financial, legal, or professional advice.
The assistant reasons over the data you've entered and can get things wrong — a figure, a date, an interpretation. Treat its output as a starting point, verify anything that matters, and make your own business decisions. You, not Solify, are responsible for what you do with its suggestions.
05Invoicing and your clients
Solify gives you tools to create and share invoices. That's the extent of our role: Solify is not a party to any transaction between you and your clients. We don't guarantee that your clients will pay, and we aren't responsible for disputes between you and them — those are yours to resolve. Where direct payment of invoices is available, the payment itself is processed by Stripe.
06Your content
You own the data you put into Solify — your clients, invoices, notes, and records. We claim no ownership of any of it. You grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to operate the Service for you; how we handle it is described in the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for having the right to record the information you enter, including information about your clients.
07Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service. In particular, you won't:
- — Use Solify for anything illegal or fraudulent.
- — Abuse or overload the Service — including hammering endpoints, circumventing rate limits, or otherwise degrading it for others.
- — Attempt to access other users' data.
- — Resell, rebrand, or offer the Service to others as your own.
08Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put other users or the Service at risk. When an account ends — by your choice or ours — your access stops, and your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy's retention section. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.
09Disclaimers
Solify is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it reliable, but we don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output — including AI-generated insights — will be accurate or complete. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
10Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solify won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Solify evolves. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or within the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Solify after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
